Hi, I’m new here. I’ve just been told I need a repeat blood test for U&E’s as my potassium level is 5.8. I take 100mg Losartan daily and I’m wondering if that’s the cause. Has anyone else experienced this?

IF you are undergoing U&E's - I'm assuming you are suffering a heart condition - your NP should be on this if it is an issue. I had to chang emy diet to manage my potassium levels for my kidney. Thankfully, i'm no fan of bananas - but my Heart NP had the situation sorted within a month. So contact yours if it is still an issue - they will also answer your question
