Trans-thoracic ECHO cardiogram revealed normal dimensions of TH LV with preserved LVEF (superior to 55%) preserved right heart dimensions

Is this good? only just told a 24 hour cardiac holter is to be sent from my neurologist appointment I had in March (obviously delayed due to pandemic). Had forgotten about the appointment follow up entirely.

Thankyou

Hi Nemesis, we can’t give medical advice but the terms ‘normal’ and ‘preserved LVEF’ indicates that there is nothing wrong with either the function of the left ventricle or its size and shape.

He Nemesis, as Iris says - we cannot give medical advice but from my own experience and the multitude of tests and 2 angiograms, my detailed medical reports show a LVEF of 57 pct and considered normal. My understanding "normal" is anywhere between the low 50's to around 65 pct. However many people do very well with LVEF well below that number, depending on comorbidities and general health.
