Join our next ‘Live and Ticking’ online event on Wednesday, 4-5pm.

Hear from our Chief Executive, Dr Charmaine Griffiths, who will share the latest news and views from the BHF. Charmaine is keen to hear from supporters so do ask her a question.

James Leiper is Professor of Molecular Medicine in the Institute for Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences at the University of Glasgow and Associate Medical Director at the BHF. Professor Leiper will give an overview on the BHF’s funding into stroke research.

Professor Keith Muir at the University of Glasgow, is leading a clinical trial supported by the BHF and the Stroke Association to test whether newer clot-busting drugs improve people’s chances of recovery after a stroke.
