Welcome to the forum.

In answer to your question, yes you can use a lift.

Here's a link to a BHF article on living with a pacemaker -there's a list of do's and dont's at the end of the article

Hi Gsarah

When you say you use lifts for work is that operating it or maintaining it? Some electrical devices can set off the pacemaker but generally you should be ok. The pacemaker club at the hospital will be able-to advise if you have concerns they love to make sure you fully understand what your having to deal with and have a great interest in their patients. I have had mine in for eight years and going from strength to strength, the odd security panel in shops goes off but not inconvenienced by it hopefully in a few weeks like mine you will forget you have one inside you. My daughter who is in medicine says it’s like having a double insurance policy. Enjoy the added security of having your your own built in warning system. And welcome to the club
