Heart attack and stents 2 months ago. So now its a question of eliminating which which drug makes me feel ill if indeed it is one of the drugs. Nausea and feeling of butterflies in stomach all the time possible anxiety. Another GP prescribed citalopram i read leaflet and not recommended for people with heart problems, on anti platelet drugs or aspirin, and when he suggested another one i looked them up and it said the same. I am going to try CBT. I Ruled out the statin, just leaves Ramipril, prasurgrel ,bisoprolol so GP has changed me from Ramipril to candesartan. I am guessing i should take this at night as i take the bisoprolol in morning. Anyone else switched to this drug .

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi, I was changed from Ramipril to Cardesartan developed annoying cough which lots here on the forum had, don’t have a problem with Candesartan and have been on it for 4 years, take it in a morning along with my Bisoprolol Furosemide and dispersal aspirin. I had OHS and were given the drugs in the morning in hospital so carried on the same at home.

Best wishes

Pauline
