I am now in permanent AF after cardiologist doesn’t recommend any more cardioversions. When I was in sinus rhythm between cardioversions I was able to exercise quite a lot. I was wondering now about the dangers,if any, of exercising with AF.
I have recently developed pulmonary hypertension which makes me out of breath and I can’t walk far before having to rest. Was wondering what type of exercise I could do. Thought of buying an exercise bike much to my grandchildren’s amusement!

I will do that but it's difficult with a phone call. I have an appointment for a call on 8th October so intend to make a list of questions but doubt if I will get through them all.
The cardiologist suggested I have a 48 heart monitor and from that see what the options are: ie pacemaker with AV node ablation or another ablation. Having heart monitor on 9th December. Moderate exercise suggested, no lifting weights or running a marathon as if!! Before 2nd lockdown I have been doing Tai Chi and Exercise to Music, both quite enjoyable. Thanks for your interest. Keep safe and well.👍
