Post op appointment

I have my post op appointment for aortic valve replacement next week via video link. I will be 7 weeks post op. Can anyone tell me what to expect.

I had my telephone call appointment after an aortic valve replacement and graft to the aorta last June. It was a "member of the surgical team" whom I had never met. He read from a prepared script telling me that the op had gone well, he summarised what had been done and asked me how I was. Told me I could drive again and basically that was it. Subsequently a letter turned up with a summary of the call and it included recommendations for the GP and a note that I should have an echo in Jan/Feb 2021. I am sure everyone's call is different though.

Hi had my appointment post op at the hospital saw the surgeon who had done my operation, had an X-ray as there had been air in my chest cavity so he wanted that checked, showed me the new X-ray compared to one done before valve being replaced, told me my heart was now beautiful! Showed me my sternum and the wires holding it together told me in 18 months time my sternum would be stronger than his! Listened to my heart had a student with him asked if he could have a listen, Said everything was fine and discharged me back to my cardiologist. Came out of his room and did a jig going down the corridor.
