A few years ago I was suffering serious tiredness, or fatigue, so I tested to see if Clopidogrel was the cause. I had a proper ten week test, replacing Clopiwhatsit with other blood thinners.

Conclusion was that Clopidogrel was not the cause. We are all different.

Thank you for your reply.

I am not yet sure whether it the Clopidogrel that is causing the tiredness, it may be the Losartan that I am taking, just on the verge of investigation, I think it is going to be a long job.

Yes! Since I started taking it I’m exhausted! But I have to persevere with it for the next year due to stent. Hate the way it makes me feel though x

I have to stay on it for life as I came off aspirin, but GP is having a word with consultant to see if it can be changed.

Have you had any blood tests done, as I found out that extreme fatigue whilst on this med can mean a rare decrease in blood cells. This is why I am worried.

Hi , Clopidogal is much stronger than Aspirin. I was on Clopidogal for 2 years and my Cardiologist took me off them, because he said that he don't like his patients being on them indefinitely. Im on Bisoprolol ,Amlodipine, Aspirin, Monomil XL , The Butrans Patch, Pregabalin ,Paracetamol, Mirtazapine Lansaprozle, Gaviscon, Zopiclone, Diazepam, Buscopan .I also have Oralmorph for when the pain is too bad. But I don't like taking it because it just makes me feel Yuk. I am always tired. But not because of the Clopidogal. Because of all the other medication that I take. We are all different Christina. So the best thing is to discuss it with your GP. Hope you feel better soon.

I was on aspirin as well, also Bisprolol, but had to come off both because I could not tolerate them.

I initially, thd Clobidogrel was for a year, but because the aspirin was discontinued, I will have to stay on the clobidogrel.

Hi Christine, why was the Aspirin discontinued I'm not a Doctor, but I'm really surprised that you've been told that you'll have to stay on the Clopidogal..

Sorry KB47, I did not explain very well, I meant that I was taken off aspirin, not that it had been taken off the market.

After having a suspected heart attack, I was eventually diagnosed with MINOCA, and I was put on aspirin for life and clobidogrel for one year to thin my blood.

I could not take the aspirin as it upset my stomach, so that left me taking only clopidogrel.

In order to keep the blood thin, I have no option than to stay on clobidogrel.
