Had an X-ray at my 7 week post surgery review ...... I have snapped one of the wires. I thought that first sneeze after getting home hurt - now I know why.

will there be any follow up to finding this out? Or is it just left?

They will just leave it. The broken section is behind the breastbone. Removal and replacement would mean them going in again .... which nobody wants. The other 8 wires are holding fine.
