Hi. How slow at rest? Mine is 38 at rest and that makes me dizzy when I stand up suddenly but though life makes me tired I don’t think my slow heart beat does 😀🙏🏻😀

You may be a candidate for a pacemaker?

Hi Dribby. I would suggest getting your slow heart rate and fatigue investigated. Have you spoken with your GP /cardiologist? Depending on the cause of your symptoms you may need a pacemaker. I had one fitted for congenital complete heart block in February. My main problem was how slow my heart rate was at night. Hope you get sorted and feel better soon

Hi Dribby

I’m not sure what your HR is, what medication you’re on or whether you’ve discussed this with your GP - which is the first thing you should do.

You will see examples on this forum of people who are seemingly untroubled by resting heart rates in the 40’s and 50’s and whose Dr’s aren’t concerned either.

That said, if you have symptoms you should check. Bear in mind though that your symptoms might not be related to your HR - low blood pressure may cause similar symptoms.

If your HR is too low for you there are a number of possible cause as well as various treatment options. These all start with your GP who can initiate the tests needed for an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment.

Best wishes
