Hi there,

I’ve phoned them 3 times over the last 3 months and always got through within minutes. I’ve found them to be really easy to talk to and very professional.

Take care!

Hi

I tried once and left a message with someone who advised she would get a Nurse to call me back -I had some concerns re start of Covid 19 as I have a pacemaker for SSS and Angina , Plus kidney issues , previous admission for pneumonia and work in the community as a mental health clinician do just needed some Reassurance

I never got a call back at all

The nurses hours extended as a result of the Tox. They now operate 9:00 - 5:00 M-F, and 10:00 - 4:00 weekends and bank holidays. Their number is 0300 330 3311.

Fed up with hearing about Coronavirus and CovID with some friends we now call it the Tox! Apparently it comes from a horror book!

When I’ve phoned them it was always easy to get hold of them, don’t know at present what it’s like with this virus

I will say they are very good with loads of information and putting your mind at rest

Hi Ali, sadly I had a very negative response when I tried recently. The phone connection was poor and the call cut off. I then tried ringing back straight away and the phone wasn’t picked up. At the time I put it down to maybe remote working at home due to the virus but it has put me off ringing again. I hope you have better success and get a more positive response from others

I don’t know about by phone but I messaged one of the nurses over a week ago and have not had a reply. Will be interesting to hear how you get on. Good luck.

Thanks for this 👍🏼I messaged a nurse directly is that wrong as I haven’t had a reply?

The alternative to phoning is to email them on

hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk

Is this how you messaged? I think they get a fair amount of spam as the email address is on a number of webpages. There are a lot of sad people about!

Oh dear! I couldn’t see how to contact but on the list of people eg admin, it lists BHF nurses so I messaged one on them. Whoops! Thank you for your reply

Rang other day. Got straight through to very helpful nurse who offered advice and guidance. Since visited GP as she recommended and feeling better. Wish I had spoken to her sooner.

Don’t wait, give them a call.
