Back from another angiogram

Hi again. Just back from (yet) another angiogram. I’d had all sorts of warnings about what to expect, but ended up with a diagnosis of over-medicated!

So....more pill juggling.

I have a very persistent Consultant, who, I’m sure will find the right balance.

Thank you all for your support. It means a lot.

Glad it went well and hope you feel a lot better when you're on the right combo of meds.

Hi Kristin

Sounds like all is good did your consultant say what he thought you are over medicated on ?? Just my Heart Failure consultant thought I was over beta blocked at 10mg so reduced to 7.5mg. I seem to go up and down between 7.5 and 10mg depending on which consultant Heart Failure or Intervention which I saw last !!

Hi Pravda it’s difficult isn’t it when two different specialists are looking at slightly different issues.....all your heart, of course!

Like you, I’ve got 2, a cardiophysiologist (who was talking pacemaker) and an interventionist, who was more interested in the angina.

But between them they are have now starting amlodipine 5 mg for angina, and stopped Diltiazem 180mg, which they hope will reduce the AF.

We’ll see.

Let me know how you get on.
