Lowering cholesterol

Just has my telephone consultation with my cardiologist and my cholesterol has gone down to 2.6. It’s seems the combo of eztimbe & atorvastin does really work. He also said that if I kept my cholesterol this low over a protracted period it would start to clean out my arteries.

I am Pauline, it’s took me ages to find a good cardiologist, he’s so proactive and listens and celebrates small wins with you.

In the past every cardiologist I’ve seen is looking to discharge me before I’ve even sat down.

I too have a great cardiologist, though haven’t seen him in 2 years last time he told me my heart was mended have a yearly echocardiogram and as long as the pressure is ok he doesn’t want to see me in clinic! I was in hospital for 7 weeks before my op (at another hospital ) and saw him 5 days a week so built up a good relationship and that really matters. So glad you have someone you have confidence in.
