Last couple of nights I have had a burning. Sensation in my chest I assumed it was indigestion but today when I swallow it feels like I have swallowed a boiled sweet and it’s got stuck. Could it be the aspirin. I have been taking it for nearly five weeks always with or just before food. Should I call GP.

Burning
I have acid reflux, which is heartburn and some times it feels difficult to swollaw the next day or two, but you should see your GP, especially as you take apirin, as it could be a symptom of quite a few things, if it doesn't go away in a day or so or keeps happening. Your gP will be able to suggest any tests or give you a medicine to help acid in your tummy.
If you are taking aspirin regularly you probably should be on a PPI to protect your stomach
better checking it out with at least GP ❤️
Thanks everyone will see how it is tomorrow and if the same will call GP
Don’t leave it - get checked today. You probably need a PPI to protect your stomach. Take your aspirin after food or during a meal, my dad took it for years dissolved in water and had no problems, hubby suffered without a PPI to help his stomach.
