Hi, so pleased to hear how well you are doing, keep up the good work listen to your body and you will be back to a normal routine before you know it, it’s a funny old world at the moment but hopefully it won’t be to long before we are all getting back to normal!
Stay safe Pauline
Feb 18 >march 18 > April 18th. Congratulations - your sternum has just about healed and will take about three months to gain strength. Bear in mind your body has been ripped apart. Take it gently, watch your diet and bear in mind that there is a lot of fixing going on under your skin.
Have a look at 'The haywire heart' by Mandrola and others. It is a book that looks at endurance exercise, contains lots of informative case studies and examines what endurance exercise does to your heart. Interesting reading.
