Morning all -my first post since joining. I had an AVR 15 months ago. I was previously a smoker but stopped 18 months ago. Prior to my op I had no symptoms but luckily the stenosis was spotted at a gp visit. Since about 6 weeks after the surgery I have been short of breath. Heart failure has been ruled out by my gp who has finally referred me to the respiratory team - currently there is around a 2 year wait for an appointment. I wonder has anyone else had the same problem.
