Clear sky's
Yes they've been expecting this side effect. I went outside last night, and there is frequently a haze of population but it was crystal clear
After 9/11 - all flights were grounded in the US for 3 or 4 days - The University of California quickly got people taking reading, and by the end of the flight embargo the air temperature had gone up by a degree or so because of the absence of vapour trails from aircraft reducing the amount of sunlight that reached the ground.
The clarity of the air was also noticed when the Iceland volcano Eyjafjallajökull erupted in 2010 and large numbers of aircraft movements were disrupted in Europe.
Perhaps now is the time to consider taking up astronomy as a hobby 😊
I like looking up at the stars but I don't think I'd have the time for any new Hobby's ðŸ˜
Beautiful day today shame I cant get out on the bus and go anywhere ( for a long time) I would go for a long walk if I could.
Yes it is a shame, I hope you are able to get out soon. I drive my wife mad, when I feel a bit down I imagine Gene Kelly dancing in "singing in the rain" I don't dance but I love whistling singing in the rain and the sailors hornpipe, hope you can whistle 😂
Some days I really cant walk at all somedays I can a bit
Saw a satellite image last week side by side, it was taken of Italy before the lockdown and after, it was amazing the haze was completely gone with no traffic on the roads will be interstate to see something similar for the U.K.
