Life after COV19

Hi everyone I hope you are all well and not too fed up in our little isolation bubbles. I had a quad bypass 4 years ago this April so I guess I'm in the dodgy old duffers category. I went down on Tuesday with a high temp 38.6 C. I also developed a sore throat, horrendous headache and a cough. Now, Thursday, my temp is back down at 37.2 C. I still have the cough but the headache has gone thank goodness.

This all leads up to one question. How will i ever know if it IS COV 19 or just a bug of some sort? If it is the Coronavirus I believe I would have built up some immunity for the future and could go out in the pursuit of a toilet roll perhaps.

If it was just a bug I will most likely be more at risk to catching the COV 19

Without testing I don't know whether to breath a sigh of relief or worry more.

Any suggestions ?

Phil

Just my opinion but this is one

of the reasons that everyone with such symptoms should be tested. It’s not too late for you to ring your surgery and make some enquiries to that end. As the WHO instructed “test, test, test - it’s the only way to keep track”! Get well soon.
