I suggest you join Pacemaker Club which is an on-line forum similar to this, but specifically for people with pacemakers and other implanted cardiac devices. I have a pacemaker for Type 2 AV Block, and have found the club invaluable.

Just Google Pacemaker Club and join up on-line. The web site is Canadian and most of the members seem to be from the USA, but there are plenty of people from all round the world.
