I have had my CT Angio and Coronary Angio and got the results. No blockages or narrowing and no sign of any aneurysm. But my aorta valve is swinging like a saloon door in the wind. Bloods are also all fine - Glucose 5.6 and Cholesterol 4.4. So apart from the wonky valve and the ventricle enlargement it has caused there is nothing wrong ....
The HF Nurse increased my Bisopropol to 3.75mg a day, stopped the Aspirin and put me on a new medication I can't spell. She has also put me forward for the "Entresto" Clinic in a few weeks. Is anyone else here on Entresto? Is it any good? Any problems?
I am still going to need to have the valve replaced - but apparently this Entresto will help with the enlargement before the op and make recovery easier post op?

Is the drug you cannot spell either Rivaroxaban or Apixaban? These are anticoagulant drugs. A number of people on the forum are on Entresto and it generally seems to give good results. I imagine one or two of them will comment later.
You moniker suggests you are overweight. If this is the case the closer you can get to a normal BMI before surgery the better the outcome and recovery.
