Hi I take 9.375 mg twice a day and it seemed to work within a few days. I have dilated cardiomyopathy and take several other drugs too! I have had no side effects from any of my drugs. I also have a CRTD fitted .

Thanks, I am a "stranger" to heart meds, my HF and subsequent TAVI op. came out of the blue, almost two years ago - but I'm still in shock!!! Will see how cardio OP app. goes (this is about 18 months after last one )

Yes I know all about being shocked. I got a cold and ended with viral heart infection from it ! I had heart failure and respiratory arrest. My CRTD is amazing though and I feel great. The dose you are on is low but they may titrations it up slowly. That’s what they did with me. My cardiologist called it optimising my medication. Good luck 😉

Thanks for good luck wishes...to you too. Had to look up CRTD I've never heard of it, so pleased it suits you. I couldn't have open heart as I was too weak (and old)!!! but didn't feel ill apart from when I was admitted with breathing probs.

TAVI - (local anaesthetic) - inserts tissue valve as far as I know, don't really know. I feel ok regards heart now but scared of what appt. might bring

Like your cardiologists expression!. So long as I feel ok no intention of titrating

My husband took carvedilol in the standard heart failure dose, 25mg twice daily. 3.25 is such a tiny dose you would be unlikely to feel any effect. It's normally titrated up gradually.
