Hello, my husband of 79 years was recently refused an operation for varicose veins as his heart rate kept dipping too low.

He is now Having investigations to discover the cause.

We had already booked a holiday for January with a 2 hour flight.

Can anyone advise the risks of flying with a low heart rate ?

Thank you in advance

If you look on the 'pinned posts > see all' on the right hand side of the site you should be able to pick up some suggestions on travel insurance but you might find the insurance companies are a bit wary of insuring ' as you are under investigation'. I assume they may be looking at a pacemaker. If you are going to Europe the E111 is still going to be valid in spain, but anywhere else - who knows?
