Seems I have a valve leak after surgery, causing some hemolysis..destruction of red blood cells - .anyone know what is involved? On the internet, the outlook for hemolitic aneamia isnt brilliant, says surgery needed, it cannot heal by itself...but my surgeon seems to want to "wait and see" if my red blood count will improve. Not sure what to believe, really.

At this juncture I would believe your surgeon. From experience I know the Internet if full of rubbish and snake oil merchants! From your former posts you are only two months post OHS so still in the early stages of recovery. I needed unrelated surgery after my bypass and this was delayed to month five so I would be further into recovery and fitter for a full anesthetic. Do keep us updated.
