quick question on medical cards
I have an international MedicAlert membership and part of the membership includes wallet cards. I also have two of the bracelets (they also offer necklaces and watches) with one always on my wrist 24/7/365. It's stainless steel and can be worn bathing and swimming.
I cannot begin to praise the service highly enough - the peace of mind alone is worth the approximately £100 I splashed out on the annual membership fee and the two bracelets.
I joined in May 2019 - the membership fee was just under £40 and drops at renewal to just under £30, the bracelets were around £23 each one-off purchase - if my conditions change and I need to update, the service gives me a whopping discount to make the changes.
My bracelets and wallet card have engraving and printing giving my membership number and a 24hr phone number plus my main heart conditions for First Responders to know immediately; the membership and phone numbers give A&E or any emergency unit immediate access to my full medical record.
All over the world, First Responders and emergency medics know and respect the MedicAlert cards and jewellery.
If you join you are taken to a page to list all your conditions including any replacement/repair bit numbers and after vetting and verification by their medically trained staff, that information is printed on your membership wallet card(s) plus added to your membership number specific information - no more worries regarding appliance numbers even in an emergency situation - your membership guarantees any information you list is immediately relayed to the medics.
