Bypass
Sorry to hear that iw51. Horrible to end up with something extra that you didn’t anticipate. Did they give you an indication of when you’d get it done?
Glad to see your application to join the zipper club has been approved. There are some fairly interesting initiation rites which sound truly awful but will extend your life dramatically. Welcome aboard.
If you check the posts you will see that an angiogram is nearly always done before procedures on the aorta or any of the heart valves. Often a bypass is indicated and can be done at the same time. Better to find out now than further down the road!
Hiya, don't be scared i had bypass in march I'm 53 (male) it was totally unexpected & out of the blue, 2 days after coming home from hospital fell & broke my wrist had it put in plaster on my birthday 😂 put your trust in them there excellent. Best wishes & many happy new years for you
Hi, Just seen your post, I had aortic valve replaced and they did a bypass 2 for the price of one! That was 3 years ago. I know it’s scary but, as others have said it’s their day job. I feel fine after the op, sometimes I see my scar and have to think did that really happen to me!
I wish you well, I know it’s easy for me to say you will be fine, but you really will be.
