have had E.C.G.twice -can it pick up any abnormality-

senior citizen,been on same medication for h/pressure for around 3oyrs-have stopped the past 6months,----still attend nurse h/pressure,borderline-never been extemely high ,my anxiety tends to make it rise .my last reading was 148/80---------have been on the same medication Alodipine5mg,any advice would help....

No it cant. It’s a quick snapshot, if any event happens whilst it is being done it can pick it up but if problem is intermittent then it’s quite likely it will not show up on ecg.
