The only one I've ever been recommended is AliveCor - although it's not for continuous tracking. It takes a medical-grade ECG whenever you feel symptoms coming on. Hope that helps!

Hello

Welcome to the forum

The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) make these recommendations about the AliveCor Heart monitors

In some parts of the country it is being adopted by the NHS and being provided in GP surgeries.

Perhaps go and discuss with your GP whether they are providing this technology.

AliveCor is the most popular, but it seems to have some major restrictions (works with only a small range of smartphones, and something about a premium subscription service really being needed to get the full benefit).

saw this recent article ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... which will give you a long list.

It depends what you want. If you want a small 30 second recording of anything you think is suspicious, then probably all of the cheap products will do. If you want to have it on you constantly, so that it picks up the beginnings of AF then you need a higher quality where the leads are attached to you.

I have a cheapish that does not need a smartphone. The printouts are good enough to show a doctor, who can distinguish between plain old ectopics, and true AF. The screen is also good enough for that. The main problem is that it requires you to point the head of the unit at your chest in order to get a clear reading --the fingers + palm method is poor. This gives problems in public:) It is the Heal Force Prince 180D amazon.co.uk/180-D-Handheld...

I am very tempted by CheckMe Pro because of its easy 24 hour facility. What puts me off at the moment is the price, and lack of information about the product particularly the computer software to analyse the trace. amazon.co.uk/Portable-Press...
