I was just wondering if others have had problems? In replying to a message I got "Error" and lost my reply. The other day the same thing happened replying to a post! 😕

Something like this happened to me recently, I reported it. Apparently, the website was having a bit of a blip. Is that a technical term? ☺

The dictionary definition of a blip is "an unexpected, minor, and typically temporary deviation from a general trend". So yes that is fine!

Good Morning Michael,

Ive lost a lot of messages when I'm trying to reply to a message that have been sent to me. Im not very good on the internet and I was thinking that I was doing something wrong all the time.

Perhaps it wasn't my fault all the time.

JUST HALF THE TIME !!!☺ Gjkas..

So far lucky replying to messages and posts but I have noticed when following on discussion my 'likes' for other's comments disappear and I have to 're-like'. Must be confusing for the person I've 'liked' the comment of, I know it's been confusing for me to be notified of a like only to find it disappeared then later another notification and poof, there's the like they gave my comment magically restored.

Hope that made sense.

Complete sense as it keeps happening to me!

When it happens I usually tell myself it's down to 'bandwidth overload' (meaning the site server is being overloaded by so many of us online at the same time).

This site is free to use so I try not to complain but whatever is causing the issues does leave me 'scratching my head' at times.

But again, it's free and as I know what it costs to have an online forum (the cost is best described as 'ain't cheap' and piles on the higher the level of service, like moderators, private messaging, and 'stickies' that keep a post top of the home page listings), I really do try to shrug off the occasional frustrations.

It's a "blinking blip"!
