Problems Posting

I was wondering if anybody else is having problems posting. Since last weekend's issues I have had problems in that when I am typing the font changes, I jump out the entry box, the post suddenly gets saved or erased before I am finished. It is incredibly annoying.

My only other thought it that Windows 10 also installed a number of updates. I hope Microsoft do not get involved in software for cars - the thought of a software update or reboot in the middle of a roundabout is downright scary!

Hi Michael,

yesterday on the home laptop yes, gave up in the end and moved back onto my tablet. Today at work (shush!) no issues

Is that Windows 10? I don't work Fridays or I could have tried Windows 7 and Linux Mint 17.x in my lunch break.

Windows 10 at home yes, I don't work Thursdays mostly!

Much of my Thursday disappeared in GDPR! :( But I doubt it will stop "you have had an accident" and PPI calls and spam-mails. I would up one caller by asking about PIP for CVD! :)

Now that is a wonderful, fully thought out piece of legislation....

Had another set of W10 updates a couple of days ago. It's even worse now!!!

Used an Android phone today and although I could post reasonably well it would not let me edit the post. A not-so-smart phone!

I had forgotten all about this post. Last month I had major issues following Patch Tuesday. Patches KB4489878 , KB4474419 and one other for a W7 machine installed but caused the PC to hang when rebooting. I had to boot into Safe mode and go back two Restore Points and disable these from installing.

I also had issues with Android updates over Easter!

It comes over as a lack of professionalism by some staff!

Why? Microsoft is doing pretty good with software, there are a lot of things they are working on. Check here cheapoemsoft.com/ they are producing quite a lot of apps, starting from windows and up to Office.

If you look at my reply of 12 days ago it was in reply to a post similar to yours that has since disappeared! Both MS and Android put out the occasional flakey update. If you believe otherwise you are taking something stronger than statins! :)
