Medication Change.

I'm new to the forum, but long term heart failure patient. i was on Ramipril for some years, but was changed to Entresto some months ago. minimum dose due to effect on blood pressure, going low. 110/75. Am now so very very fatiqued and tired. just want to sleep all day. anyone else affected this way after change of medication?

110/75 doesn't sound like a low reading to me at all. MIne's usually around 110/63. IT used to be same as yours . I've tried several BP Tablets with teh same effect. BP drops too low and I faint if I get up too quickly. Are you on anything else because other tablets can do that too. Beta blockers were the worst for me. See your GP

My Husband was put on entresto (medium dose) and he didn't have a good experience, upset stomach and diarrhoea and complete exhaustion, after calling the HF nurse he was advised to come off it, he's now back on ramapril, I did a bit of research and found mostly bad reviews for entrust on an american site, also realise now that it is not exactly a new medication but has been repackaged as it were, there were some good reviews too but on balance mostly negative. I have also heard the suggestion that it is better for younger people not so good for older.
