RESISTANCE TO GTS UNDER TONGUE SPRAY?

Prescribed the above spray for attacks of angina following 3 stented arteries and 1 remaining blocked artery that couldn't be stented, back in July.

Had need to use it today for the 1st time - previously, I just used to sit down for 10 minutes or so until the attack subsided.

I used it as prescribed, following the instructions to the letter. Nothing happened at all . . Nothing. I sat down and within 10 minutes and I was OK again.

Had to resort to using it again some 2 hour's later for a second, separate attack - once again no relief, nothing happened. Sat down as before and it passed.

I cant understand this, i seem to be immune to this medication, I thought this was the gold standard for treating angina, as others seem to swear by it, not me sadly 🙄

Has anybody else experienced this?

Just as an aside, I'm also on isosorbide 60mgs but that doesn't work for preventing my now, almost daily attacks. Is this merely a coincidence ??

Any information please ☺☺ would love to know . . .

Did you give the GTS 2 sprays to clear the depleted liquid before use? Recommended to give 2 sprays before use as the liquid deteriorates when in contact with air (ie. The liquid in nozzle)

Hi. Yes I did. I followed the directions exactly as per the enclosed instructions leaflet.

I managed to actually speak with my Cardiologist just this morning and thankfully am being seen this Friday ☺

SO relieved . . .

Is it an old spray? I’m sure you’ve checked the date....also I spray once into the air first, before doing the one under my tongue, to ensure it’s spraying fully.

But, unlike you, I always really feel the effect. A puzzle!

Hi Yes it was brand new and I sprayed it into the air first. I followed the instructions to the letter.

However, I've just managed to speak with my consultant and he wants to see me this Friday, he seemed quite concerned. I'm SO relieved . .☺
