Hi... This has been discussed a few times. The general feeling is if there is a hard Brexit there will be some shortages. Usually there are alternatives but that would not be ideal. The smoke and mirrors around Operation Yellowhammer does not help. I am fairly convinced that the intention all along for the past few months had been a hard Brexit but with the blame put on others like Macron and Merkel. To say relatives living in Germany are bemused would be an understatement!

There are shortages of some drugs already e.g. HRT.

I picked up my monthly bagfull last weekend and the pharmacist said they couldn't get hold of my vitamin A+D capsules. They gave me some that expire this November (!) and they'll phone me when the rest are available.

Thank you - hadn't realised there was a problem with Vit D. I might see if Holland and Barrett have any - it's usually on offer there, or otherwise emigrating somewhere with more sunshine!
