Had to fill out a health form for my new job yesterday, so put down all my health problems including heart & now worried that I'm not being given shifts & may lose the job because of it

Very Worried
It sounds like you have already started. If you had when they gave you the questionnaire you would have a good case for unfair dismissal. It akin to telling you that you need 'O' level Mathematics and English a week after you started!
Spoke to the guy who was training me today & he says that I have nothing to worry about
An employer is not allowed to ask for your medical history prior to you starting work unless there is a reason which fits into the guidelines.
They should be asking you what reasonable adjustments they need to make so that you both benefit.
I would call ACAS as they have a great helpline to get some solid advice.
Discrimination/ unfair dismissal could be at play here.
Keep us in touch.
It went well today & have been given a few more shifts with the view to giving me more & a better pattern quickly. It's still worrying me as haven't met my Area Manager yet
Try to “go down another path “ when you are worrying about this. It can’t be good for you....How about seeing the fact that today’s news seems more positive and that when you do meet with your area manager this aspect of you will shine through rather than you. being seen as a worrier
Take cares

The feedback I had for yesterday was very good indeed, hopefully today will be the same. I can't help but to worry as it's in my nature & even more so when starting something new
" An employer is not allowed to ask for your medical history prior to you starting work unless there is a reason which fits into the guidelines"
Since when ? Many companies often used to have medicals for prospective employees.
My last job didn't ask, but this job did, so can onlu guess that you need a certain level of fitness for it
The doctor I saw today was worried about me doing it though, but I know I can do it
I've been retired for along time now but certainly the last two companies I worked for asked me to fill in a health questionnaire after I started. Also in those days a company could terminate your employment without much reason in the first few months. Now employees obviously have more rights and employers fewer.
It would be easier being a union rep now than it was for me then.
My last company sought medical advice & kept me on after knowing about them & some being found out after starting with them
This company I told way back in the application process & they said it wouldn't be a problem back then, so can't understand why the change of mind
Have you had time off because of it ?
I was sent home early from shifts in my previous job, sometimes upto A&E, but not so far in this job as hardly done any shifts
It is to do with the 2010 Equality Act and discrimination. Have a read here

That’s very interesting, I didn’t know that. I am looking for a part time job and have various conditions, and am sometimes reluctant to apply for fear of rejection at some point down the line. This makes me feel more positive, thanks.
Thanks for that, had heard something, but didn't know for sure. I just said that it wasn't a problem in my last job
