Hi folks! Was hoping to get some advice.
My partner suffers from SADS. He’s 27, has had a few heart failures and recently it’s been getting worse. Usually he can rest and everything is fine.
I’m a community first responder so I can monitor the basics, but his heart rate has been hitting as low as 26 bpm. The arrhythmia is more noticeable.
He’s been to cardiac specialists but they’ve said it’s environmental at the moment (change in air pressure flaring it up) and he’s at his wits end.
I’m terrified of losing him.
Has anyone got anymore information on this or what sort of treatments are available to make life more manageable? It really only seems to be around this time of the year it gets bad, but it’s been longer to recover.
I know it’s genetics for him, but if there’s anything new or something he could go to the doctor/hospital with that might help, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
