I agree with you: free and polite debate is the thing. Do you want me to speak up on your behalf to admin?
I am not sure about Ivor Cummins. One needs to listen to both sides of the debate and there seems to be a thing about animal protein being unhealthy because of a particular amino acid (leucine?) that it contains in large quantity. Also, there seems to be a common view that meat fats are bad for you compared to dairy fats and that unsaturated fats are better than both. It's too difficult to unearth the truth about fats and the affect on health may be small anyway.
I do:
- intermittent fasting (16:8 or more), which helps minimise blood sugar over 24 hours
- no sugar
- virtually no refined carbs
- not a lot of high starch food like wholemeal bread
- some vegan meals, normally based on beans/nuts/mushrooms
