Hi

May have to have a right heart catheterisation. Not sure about the NHS waiting list.

Has anyone had this procedure done privately and what are the fees charged for this procedure.

many thanks

many thanks Jo, have been referred but no date yet.

In case of a long wait I was just wondering the cost of having it done privately..

..love the terminology Jo, it obviously is working.

Is the procedure on an outpatient basis or will I be in hospital for a few days?

Thanks for the email Jo. I will be seeing respiratory consultant next week, who I am told specialises in PAH, for initial consultation. No doubt I will be seen shortly afterwards for the procedure, which I feel anxious about. What treatment are you receiving for this condition? And have you noticed an improvement?

Will let you know the outcome after my visit next week.

All the best
