I had a cardiac arrest last year and now have a total of six stents (the first one being in my mid 30's) I have been to hospital 2 or three times since then on referral from 111 and my GP. Since my last visit unstable angina has been mentioned and this is occurring two or three times a week.
My question is how or when should I go back to the doctor or hospital as I feel that I might be wasting their time or bothering them unnecessarily and I have a huge amount of respect for the professionals and others in the NHS.

If there is any doubt, always go to the pro’s. With heart conditions, they will never complain that you are wasting their time- in fact that’s what they really want, because it means your not at risk etc.
If your not sure they will still love you, take chocolates - always works with nurses😁
hi lee. i suffer from unstable angina.this is loosely described as having angina pain at rest.your also at more risk iv been told. my rule is if i take gtn twice and pain is still there i go to a&e.iv always been admitted until they get pain under control. pain can come and go all day.iv twice been kept in until i can get into cath lab which has resulted in stenting both times. so my advice is go get it checked to be on the safe side. good luck❤️shiona
