Heart Failure causes

I have suspected heart fail elevated BNP just waiting for Echocardiogram to confirm, I also have sinus node disease, Artial flutter, Atrial fib, super ventricular tachycardia, heart block, and 3 holes (ASD’s) caused by 4 ablations. I also have a leaky heart valve don’t know which valve.

Reading on some posts that Heart failure can be caused by Valve Problem? Don’t know if this is the case and one post I read the valve got fixed and the heart failure went

So my question is does anyone else know about this?

I know my other conditions can cause heart failure but would like to hear from anyone what they know I really know every little as only read a bit about HF until it’s confirmed to me

My BNP is 1000. I’m 50 so over 900 means my heart is struggling again.

My bisoprolol beta blocker was raised to 2.5mg and I’m waiting to see the cardiology team.

I have congenital coarctation or the aorta which was corrected with surgery when I was 8 + a bicuspid aortic valve.

I now have heart failure (dilated cardiomyopathy) which they say was caused by alcohol.

Yes I have read that faulty valves can cause heart failure. Have you got a heart failure consultant?

A general cardiologist will not be able to deal with your complex issues.
