Hi all,
I hope it's okay for me to post this. In one months time i'll be taking part in a 100km Ultra Challenge in aid of British Hearth Foundation. Last year my Dad was diagnosed very unexpectedly with AF, as you can imagine the diagnosis was a shock and we knew very little about the condition or what the future would bring. Resources and advice available from the British Heart Foundation as well as this community have proved invaluable for learning more and understanding the condition. Dad's now on the waiting list for an ablation in which they'll use equipment which was developed as part of a study that BHF were involved in.
It's for this reason that I've chosen to take the challenge of 100km (63 miles) on foot to raise vital funds that will help them to continue their work. I'll be starting at Putney Bridge at 7am on 7th September, continuing through the day and night to arrive in Henley on Thames in the early hours of the 8th September.
If, like us, BHF has helped you or you'd like to support their work, please visit the link below to sponsor me to take on this challenge.

All donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. X
