Disability & rehab

I have seen posts in the past saying that cardiac rehab were unable to cater for disabilities inc wheelchairs . I do not have a disability but am finding gym on prescription much better than cardiac rehab -better equipment and an individualised approach. I see a number of people in the gym who have disabilities inc those in wheelchairs whose needs are provided for & thought I would share this info . Referrals can be made via cardiac rehab or your GP.

Hi, I was unable to do cardiac rehab as my BP was to high. I am 7 months post HA and really feel I need to build my stamina. I have one more check in 2 weeks and if BP okay dr says she will refer me to the cardiac sessions at my gym which would be far better than constant trips to hospital 20 mins away.
