I have suffered with an OT for many years, had two partial thyroidectomies and last year radio active iodine to kill it off, I also found out during the last few years that I have type 1&2 heart block, so now have a pacemaker, which was fitted 14 months ago. No one has ever said that the two are connected but after a little research it appears that my thyroid could be the reason that I now have this heart problem.

Hi I too have overactive thyroid and had heart attack last November I feel the 2 are definitely linked. My two problems are unfortunately inherited one from each of my parents.
