Meds gastritis and heart nerves 😩

Hello all, hope all are well! Back at hospital yesterday 8weeks after STEMI with odd sort of chest sharp pain that lasts seconds but horrendous indigestion like pains. ECG showing nothing other than historic STEMI and bloods troponin at 8! Docs think I maybe reacting to prasugrel and it’s causing gastritis! So we t home with huge bottle of gaviscon increase in lansoprazol and onwards and upwards!

Until today when I had a period of about 15-30 seconds of pretty scary crushing chest pain that stopped Just before I used my GtN for the first time! My stomach is still on knots with gastritis also, does anybody else get these problems?

Not sure what’s going on in my body at mo 😩.

I have dreadful problems with my stomach! Lost a stone in weight over the last 7 weeks, have been taking esomeprazole twice a day together with ranitidine, still in pain probably Asprin and blood thinners. I am having an endoscopy next week to see what’s going on. Hope you get sorted soon.

I've had dreadful stomach pain while taking ticagrelor and aspirin. The GP stopped the ticagrelor while blaming it for the irritation but in the past 5 months I've had my ranitidine dose double 3 times for a month each time. I go back to a normal dose for about 3 weeks then the pain starts again. I'm allergic to PPIs and gaviscon so I don't have much alternative for treatment. Personally I blame the aspirin and feel I'd be better on ticagrelor
