TIA or Syncope ?
Hi, I’m not medically qualified but believe a TIA and syncope ie fainting episode are different from one another. Perhaps discuss further with your GP or Stroke Clinic or whoever said it was a TIA.
Are you on rampiril which has a side effect of dizziness or fainting?
Any witnesses to give you feedback on how long you were out for? Did you lose all your colour just before this event?
Were you standing at the time? - was it a faint as in slowly and gently getting dizzy, then kneeling and then rolling over and passing out for a short period of time, followed by a swift recovery?
Or did you hit the deck straight down and stay out for a while say 10 -20 minutes or more and get twitchy?
Do you drink plenty of water as in 2-3 litres a day to keep your blood pressure and fluids up?
Do you take salt?
So have at think, write down the details of the event, take a witness if you have one, and as Shar28 said, go and see whoever it was that said it was a TIA.
