Bisoprolol titrating from 3.75mg to 5mg - side effects

So I've been on Bisoprolol for about 7 years starting at 2.5mg then 3.75mg which I have been on for most of the last 7 years which absolutely no side effects that I am aware of. I recently had an increase in PVCs and PACs although they were still very low <1% for both but as they were powerful and affecting my QOL with elevated anxiety and all that comes with it the Cardiologist upped me to 5mg once daily in the morning to alleviate the symptoms. That was almost 2 weeks ago, and for the first week I have been fine but now in week two I feel exhausted and feel like I dozing off for a split second several times a day, in addition I am having what feels like flutters in my chest 2-3 times a day, with no associated side effects, although always within a couple of hours of having eaten, with a feeling of having trapped wind, which sometimes is there and does clear but on other occasions doesn't - this is a symptom I have never had before. I am due back to see the Cardiologist in 2 weeks so think I should sit it out and see if the symptoms alleviate but the flutters are worrying me most and causing elevated anxiety which is exacerbating the other... anyone had similar or any thoughts/advice? Doc suggested at last meet that we could swap to nebivolol if I got fatigued...

I've had several ECGs all, clear, 2 echoes which showed a very healthy heart apart from a very slight thickening of the atrial wall on left side but nothing to worry about (I'm 46) and a Bardy 7 day monitor which showed 450 benign ectopics (99% of which were PVCs) which over 7 day which while I appreciate is very low, some of them are so powerful they stop me in my tracks grasping my chest and leave me shocked (but no dizziness or other associated symptoms).

Long post but wanted to get the full picture out, any help would be appreciated!

I might be a bit of a newbie and a cynic but I suspect that some doctors/specialists try new medications and / or upping doses just to see what happens. For example my GP suggested I try Bisoprolol for a month to see if it reduced my chest pain, which it didn't, and as I was getting side-effects I stopped taking it.

Other's opinions may differ!
