Pericarditis

Treating pericarditis

You'll usually be prescribed anti-inflammatory painkillers, and you should feel better within 1 to 2 weeks.

Sitting up or leaning forward can also help ease the pain.

Thank you this helps me a lot. I have found sitting propped up in bed helpful as when lying flat I found it scary. Just have to wait on consultant getting back to me.Keep well.xx
