After having a stent fitted about a month ago taken off statin pills due to trying to find out what was causing me indigestion, I ran out of bisoprolol beta blockers felt brilliant for the week more energy etc then yesterday I get getting breathless so tried to get a GP appointment I went to surgery as phoning is a waste of time to be told all the spots were taken and a doctor will phone ,this is after they where told of my operation etc, Doctor phones and makes me an appointment for an hour later with the nurse, who decides I have water in the lungs and gives me a prescription for tablets a really poor show they wanted blood but can't do it till the 15th of May

I would ring the helpline number 111 or go to the nearest walk in centre. You need your blood pressure meds and statins when you’ve had a stent fitted. It’s the weekend now so GP practices aren’t normally open. I would complain to the practice manager on Monday. Hope you get sorted soon.
