I would contact whoever is treating your AF and report the new symptom.

I'm sure being aware of your heartbeat at times is common with AF sufferers or so I've been told....l had a meeting few days ago with my stroke nurse who seemed satisfied as much as she could be with my condition...l feel well in myself and not had the problem again since...

I asked for advice because I'm trying to understand my condition...l was concerned having felt my heart thumping in the night and wondered if l can expect this to happen without being too worried...is it a usual thing to expect?...
