Hi everybody.. I have cardiomyopathy and a CRD-T. Currently rattling from 5mg of Ramipl and 2.5 Biscoprolo along with my thyroid meds. I dont know anybody else with cardiomyopathy let alone a CRD-T, so I am kinda hoping their are on here that I could chat with about this whole debacle.

Hello dogue, I have LVSD, which is pretty similar to cardiomyopathy (maybe it's the same!), I nearly got a CRTD but my EF went above the threshold so I'm just on meds. There are a few women on this forum who have Ppcm And I'm sure they will give you loads of support. I'm a bit older than you and my heart was damaged by chemotherapy I had when I was 40. I've noticed there are a lot of younger people on a Facebook group called pumping marvellous. It's closed but this group is more anonymous, it depends what you prefer. I was diagnosed just over 2 years ago but only found these groups recently. I noticed you posted about feeling angry.. I know how that feels too, I think it's a kind of grief.. You feel like you've lost a bit of yourself, your strength. But this will get better! If you have any questions, please ask away! X

Hi Dogue, I have Cardiomyopathy (causes by a virus) , left ventricular dysfunction and heart failure, I also have a CRT-D . I am on Entresto , Nebivolol (after problems with Bisoprolol Rampiril and Cardivolol) Spirinalactone and Furosemide. My EF was about 20 on diagnosis almost 2 years ago but has now improved to 40s.

I often feel angry that what I thought was a sore throat, cough and cold led to all these problems, I have no blocked arteries etc, was just very unlucky. I am 62 and have good weeks and then bad days

Hi have dilated cardiomyopathy I was diagnosed 14 years ago, I have a bivent pacer with icd, have you heard of the cardiomyopathy website? they have a lot of info on the condition.

Hi Dogue, I’ve got DCM and my heart now doesn’t beat in sync and LBBB. So I’m in Hf. This was all caused through a virus, which makes me angry after always trying to be healthy. I had a CRT-p fitted last Friday. I was down to have a CRT-d but after being on Entresto for 7 months my ef has improved enough for me to be downgraded.

There’s always someone to answer your worries or concerns on here.

Hi i too have cardiomiopathy lvsd had it since 2008 my meds are bisoprol 10mg canastartin 32mg digoxin125mg felidipine10mg spironolactone25 mg warfarin5mg i have side affects from some of the meds which drives me mad sometimes i have also put on a few pounds over the years hope this helps but if you want to chat about it feel free it might take your mind off things ..Regards paul.
