Test result confusion

Hi, I was diagnosed with angina last year and had a ct scan showing three blocked arteries. I then had an angiogram, again showing three blockages, one 50% and two of around 40%. My cardiologist sent me for a nuclear stress test and i have just recieved a letter saying im discharged no further treatment!

I am very concerned because i have ongoing angina and breathlessness despite being on nitrate tablets. I dont understand how i can go through this whole process just to be discharged without any explanation. I know from research that most heart attacks occur in arteries less than 50% blocked. Has anybody else got any experience of this?

Hello and welcome to the forum! I also suffer from PAD (peripheral arterial disease) and despite 65% blockages in the left leg have been discharged four times ( from two different hospitals) in around nine years. At your level of blockages they usually go for conservative treatment (lifestyle and medication). Could I ask what medications and doseages you are on?

I recommend that you watch the film "Forks Over Knives". It will show you that you can clear out your arteries. It is on Netflix, YouTube and a website of the same name. It is about medical dietary research, including a massive study of 800,000 Chinese people. You might find it helpful, I did.
