hi there gandrdixon. you are doing just fine, tiredness will be the back to work mixed with your meds, probably the beta blocker. As you progress you will find more stamina, but maybe worth a review of your meds with your GP or cardiologist

Hi

The fact that your back at work and doing 10 hour shifts is fantastic you should be really proud of yourself. Although the sternum is supposed to knit together properly anywhere between 12 and 16 weeks sometimes it can take a little longer and if your job is a manual one what you may be experiencing is muscle pain around your scar . The muscles in your chest take a real hammering during the surgery and the nerves take time to settle down properly if your worried about the tenderness or pain talk to your GP or cardiac nurse at the hospital where you had your operation I’m sure they will be able to put your mind at rest

Pete 😀😀
